The Life of an Entrepreneur

A Day in the Life

Being an entrepreneur is a journey filled with both challenges and triumphs. It requires a heck of a lot of sacrifice, determination, resilience, and the courage to start something new. The road to success is paved with late nights working (while most are sleeping), missed family time, and a relentless commitment to keep going, no matter what obstacles may come your way. And trust me… there will be MANY.

When I first started my small business 4 years ago, it was right in the middle of a pandemic. A lot was unknown & I was very scared to be honest. I put so much time, money, sacrifice, stress, the list goes on. It took a lot of time away from my family in order to build the bricks to what is now my career. There were many obstacles and tears shed but I can say one thing. I’m building a business my boys will be proud of. Every single order I have received has went to support my family & I’m so very thankful for that. I have met some of the most amazing kind hearted people & hearing their stories has really touch my heart. I pour every ounce of my heart and soul into handcrafting these special keepsakes. I have hundreds of handwritten letters from my customers. I keep every single one. I’m an empath & very sentimental. I feel truly blessed to call this little business mine.

That was just a small back side to my story.. I’ll share everything on the next post! But for now, let’s get back to helping my fellow entrepreneurs!

One of the key attributes of successful entrepreneurs is their ability to prioritize the greater good over personal gain. Your empathy towards others & doing what you truly love is so important. Realizing you should always choose community over competition, rooting for others and building a network of support and collaboration is the key to success.

By fostering relationships with like-minded individuals, sharing knowledge, and offering assistance whenever possible, entrepreneurs create a strong foundation for building their business.

Despite the sacrifices and challenges, the drive to build something meaningful and long-lasting keeps entrepreneurs motivated. They are constantly striving to build a future their families can be proud of, knowing that their hard work and dedication will pay off in the end. This unwavering commitment to their vision keeps them going, even when faced with setbacks or moments of doubt.

Entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart. It requires an immense amount of courage to take that first step and start a business, knowing the risks involved. It takes resilience to weather the storms that inevitably come, and the humility to learn from failures and mistakes. But above all, it requires a mindset of never giving up.

My favorite quote “If you change your mindset, you can change your life”

To all the entrepreneurs out there, juggling the demands of work and family, navigating the ups and downs of building a business – remember that your hard work and determination will pay off in the end. Just please keep going! I’ve seen so many truly amazing small businesses close their doors the last few years due to our economy. Please don’t give up. I’m rooting for you!!

Stay true to your vision, lean on your community for support, and never lose sight of the passion that drove you to start this journey in the first place. The life of an entrepreneur is not easy, but the rewards of success and fulfillment are more than worth it in the end.

Sending my love to you all,

Chas
